Anthropology is sad to report that Dick Drennan, archaeologist and Professor Emeritus in our department, passed away on April 18, 2025. Our sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, and former students. Dick retired in 2022 and leaves behind a lasting legacy to archaeology, the department and the University of Pittsburgh. The Center for Comparative Archaeology honors his legacy here.
